How we approach it
Capturing comedy is a timing problem as much as a lighting one. We design stage and venue lighting to hold a performer’s face through movement, cover the room with a multi-camera plan that never breaks a bit for a camera move, and cut picture in service of the joke’s rhythm — not the other way around.
We shoot comedy specials and stand-up capture at venues across the Sacramento region, from intimate club rooms to full theater stages, adapting our lighting rig and camera positions to whatever the room allows without disrupting the show for a live audience.

What Sacramento venues have you filmed at?
We’ve shot comedy capture at club rooms and theater-scale venues across the Sacramento area, and we scout any new venue in advance to plan lighting and camera positions around the room’s layout and the live audience.
How many cameras do you use for a comedy special?
Most specials run multi-camera to cover wide, mid, and reaction angles without breaking the performer’s rhythm for a second take. Camera count scales with venue size and budget — we’ll recommend a setup once we know the room.
Can you deliver a broadcast- or streaming-ready master?
Yes. We deliver masters formatted to broadcast and major streaming platform specs, so the special is ready to submit or air without a separate conform pass.
Do you work with single comedians as well as full lineups?
Both — we’ve produced single-comedian specials as well as multi-comedian showcase and lineup nights, with coverage and editing built around whichever format the night is.
